Started playing drums in all the middle school bands and joined three local punk bands in Ottawa. We weren't great, but it was a blast. When I wasn't making music, I was busing around the city, being an angsty tween and hanging out with friends
2007
In high school I played drums in school bands and joined a 'stomp'-style percussion group. Outside of class, a friend introduced me to beatmaking on an MPC500 and later on Logic Pro. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I downloaded FL Studio and started making the worst beats you've ever heard

2012
After graduating high school, I took a gap year to focus on music production and audio engineering, mixing for local artists along the way. I applied to and was accepted into Fanshawe College’s 'Music Industry Arts' program in London, Ontario.
2013
This was when I truly fell in love with audio engineering. Every project I took on, I did multiple times over, constantly making music and experimenting. I spent countless hours in the studio, learning about audio, hardware, workflows, and collaborating with others.
2014
In my last year of college, I went all in and practically lived at the school for seven months. I kept a sleeping bag and supplies hidden in the building, only returning to my apartment to shower and do laundry. The studio facilities were open 24/7, with time slots often left unused by students who chose to party instead. My friends and I happily took over those sessions. The community during this time was incredible — dozens of us there at all hours, working on what we loved. Ten years later, some of those people are still my closest friends.
This is when I really started to hone my skills. I spent an absurd amount of time collaborating with others in the studio whether it was on personal music, school projects, or anything else. I also joined a band with a few fellow students, and we released music that did incredibly well. We landed sync placements on Teen Wolf on MUCH/MTV and got millions of streams. It was such a special time in my life and I got to experience it with people I care about.
I won the award for best sound design in a school project, along with a few others when I graduated, and began working remotely with artists out of Toronto.
2015
I moved into my own apartment downtown in London Ontario and spent the year working remotely with artists from Toronto, college friends, and local musicians. It was a pretty laid-back year outside of music, filled with collaborations and preparing for my next big step: locking down an apartment in Toronto and getting ready to make the move.
2017
I’d been working remotely from my apartment and collaborating with local artists in Toronto for a few years when some friends and I decided to chip in on a shared recording and practice space. I mainly used it for mixing, while they held band practices. The spot was up at Keele and Finch, so I’d subway up every morning from downtown and stay until 3 a.m. Big shoutout to the artists who made the trek out there to work with me!
2021
The pandemic had Toronto in full lockdown for what felt like an eternity, and with everything fully remote by then, I decided to move back to my hometown of Ottawa to be closer to family. I’d also started developing interests outside of music that I wanted to explore, and I knew I’d have more time to do that if I made the move.
2023
I started running and lost 80 pounds that I’d gained over the years. When I wasn’t working, I was learning to program, 3D model, and develop games. I started with Unity, moved to Unreal Engine, and eventually added Godot. I became obsessed with game development, focusing on hard surface modeling, technical art, and game design.
I’ll always be nostalgic for this period of my life. It was tough being bad at something again, but I locked in and learned so much it’s unbelievable.
I’ve been playing games since the ‘90s — they’ve been everything to me: a friend, a hobby, an inspiration, an escape, and even a vice. Learning how to create those worlds myself gave me a renewed sense of purpose.
After more than a decade working as an audio engineer, I’ve expanded my skill set into the world of game audio. Over the past few years, I’ve immersed myself in game development—learning to 3D model, script, and, of course, design sound for games. Now, I’m ready to apply my sound design expertise to the game industry, while continuing to offer mixing services for my music clients.
While game audio is an exciting new avenue for me, my passion for mixing remains as strong as ever. Having 10+ years of experience in audio processing, working with clients, and delivering high-quality results has made the transition into game audio seamless. The skills I’ve developed in mixing and mastering are directly transferable to sound design and vice versa — each discipline enhances the other.
I’m excited to build on both sides of my career, balancing mixing and game audio, and bringing the best of my abilities to every project.
